Problem loading the game

Hi all

I am having problem starting the game.

I have the game from steam, it has worked on my previous computer but on this one it wont. It comfortably meets the game's spec requirements and I can't understand why it wont load.

Steam initiates the game. The Altitude picture appears and I can see the program running on the taskbar. Then after a few seconds both disappear with no error message or anything else suggesting what the problem could be

Any help would be much appreciated.
