This is the {XxX} clan. We are a new clan that started out as just a few friends. We wanted to make it official, so here we are. We are currently a TBD,1DM and Ball clan. We are currently open for recruitment!

Clan Rules:
No swearing in the game

Okay, same questions I post to pretty much every recent new clan:

1) What is your purpose, other than being polite?
2) TBD/Ball/TDM/etc...?
3) Why are all your members in (5). (5) plays TBD and ball, if you want to do scrims and leagues, you can't be in both.

I can't tell if orangebelt/hapkido is a troll or a complete retard. He seems to join or be involved with every single new clan then leave it right away, and have no concept of this being annoying and disrespectful to the clan.

As far as I know, most of them are in the 10-12 year old range. Not judging, but just saying there's a reason they have so many threads, seem disorganized, etc.

Good luck with your clan, which I mean sincerely, despite our disagreement the other day.

I really don't know why 'senior' members like Ribilla,Selfish Lover,etc feel the need to come into new clan threads and insult the clan and the founders.

Who do these people think they are, coming into threads and demanding we follow their rules.

For example, when I ran the football tournament, I didn't care if you were in more than one clan, just that during the tournament you could only play for one. It should be internal to the clans involved if they happen to meet eachother during a competition.

I'll say no more lest I break your no swearing policy. I would consider asking the mods to remove the insulting posts, after all it is the thread for your clan.

I'm not being insulting at all, I want more new clans, but I fail to see the point of making a thread if you aren't going to describe what your clan does. It doesn't even say if they want to compete in scrims or leagues, or what modes they take part in.

The 1day tourny is fine, but for longer affairs like APL having people in multiple clans simply doesn't work. I'm just giving advice, there are certain basic things expected of a clan if they are going to actively take part in the community. The fact of the matter is that a whole bunch of very similar clans have been started by a very similar group of people, and it's just getting tiring to watch them do nothing then disband. In order to alleviate the situation, some harsh but fair advice is in order.

Also, senior member just means 100+ posts.

You cannot be in 2 clans at the same time simply because you cannot play for 2 teams (using one account) at the same time. Not to mention, if you were in multiple ball teams at the same time, and assuming these 2 teams don't play each other, it raises other questions as to which team are you loyal to etc. Most leagues disallow it.

Nobody demanded anything. Rib, was asking some common questions that are logical things to think about for new clans.

Ribilla - I don't necessarily disagree with the points you raise, it was more the tone I perceived. Of course, tone is something hard to get right in written comments, so I'm sorry if I read it the wrong way. I was reacting to a number of posts I have seen in other threads that are negative and/or pushy to new clans.

AmateurLobster: If you really want people to take new clan threads seriously then you should keep lengthy posts comprised of mainly irrelevant information about a tournament that has already happened confined to PMs with the person you are talking. Don't put stuff like this in clan threads. You should know better than that as well, Rib and Tekn0.

Just finished our second scrim!! We had lots of fun. Cant wait to scrim again! It is neat to see how my clan is doing and how well they perform!
