They won't nerf lazer. Instead they will Buff mouse users against thermo EVEN more. It's been made ridiculous now but nobody will know because the number of mouse users getting away with this like 2 or 3. I'm the 1% that notices.

Are you literally insane? If you've ever seen me try and play against goose he still insta crashes me every time. The balance is better now, but it is still greatly in favour of the keyboard for the reasons you can see in the thread I originally posted about the issue.

Also, apparently, there is a TA and laser nerf on the horizon, when APL finishes.

Are YOU literally insane? No longer my thermos affect Solqom like they used to. Mouse in ball has an aimbot already. So what's your point?

I based my original point of questioning anyone I could find who played pure mouse and a logical argument which broke down the mechanics behind thermo and pure mouse. Might be that Sol is just a good player, there are plenty of better KB randas, and the reason for that is probably that pure mouse isn't OP.

I'm saying that if puremouse offered huge advantages then we would see a larger number at the top end of the game, specifically in ball where thermo is more widely used. We see no such trend and using Sol as a single example of someone who is 'OP' is poor.

Haha Rib, don't have to get so defensive There aren't that many mouse users out there. All I'm saying is the aimbot line is a bigger deal in ball than TBD. A goal is more important than a kill, most of the time. And VipMattMan who's the only user who's mastered both mouse and keyboard has stated before that the aimbot line is quite an advantage (e.g; scoring in planepark from below). They cannot remove the line because it's fundamental to the input controller scheme, so I'm fine with that, but to balance it out - thermo affecting mouse more sounds fair to me given the other advantages it has. Of course, i don't really care too much beyond this point, and I know a perfect balance can never be achieved as it becomes subjective pretty quickly, and Explodet is not my favourite plane and I only play it unless I have no other choice, but I did notice this change.

I think the generally excepted balance is that while mouse is better for aiming, KB gives superior control of your plane, since there is no delay in switching direction, etc.

For Randa "D" turn mouse can be autoadjusted to move automatically to the reversed direction. I'm pretty sure this was added in a previous patch already iirc.

It can, but no one uses it, because while it sounds good in theory, you never know exactly where your cursor is going to appear, so it makes things very difficult, it also means you have to lift up your mouse a lot. What I mean by instantaneous control is that if a KB player is turning anticlockwise and he wants to turn clockwise, he stops pressing a and starts pressing d, instantly turning at the max rate. For mouse it requires a little more time to bring your mouse through an arc to the correct position.
