Nvm - you can beat level 1-4 with 3 stars.

Edit: Other issues -
* There is no multitasking support. If you turn the phone off or wait for it to turn off with the natural sleep of the phone the game crashes and has to be restarted.

I was thinking it through i would buy expansions and such but being competitive I hate cheating I hope game sis bearable without buying the cheating things if so great also I'd buy it to support the although devs !

You can toggle the cheat vault items on or off once you've purchased them. The vault items definitely make it easier to clear/unlock levels, but it's still challenging to 3-honeycomb everything.

I don't have this problem (HTC Sensation), I can turn the phone to sleep mode or switch to another app and when I return, the game goes to pause mode and I can continue where I left it. So it might be specific to your phone.

What I'd like to see in the next update though are:

- At the main menu when I hit the back (hardware) button to quit the game it quits right away instead of asking for confirmation. It would be nice to have a popup "Are you sure you want to quit? Yes/No" like in Angry Birds.

- When I lose on a level I get the popup that says how many enemies are left. On that screen it would be nice to have an option to go to the next level if I already have it unlocked. This would be useful when I try to max out a level, but I get frustrated with a particular one, so I could quickly jump to the next one.

- Someone mentioned this in the beta thread already: it would be nice to be able to undo a spell if I accidentally start casting one. The way I imagine it is this: if you aim left from the bee, the aiming line disappears and you basically undo the spell. I don't know if this one was clear, I'm talking about the spells that you accidentally start aiming but you haven't launched them yet.

Just had a quick playthrough of this on my HTC desire HD, and can't say i've noticed any real problems so far! Very polished production imo, great music and nice visuals.

The gameplay feels like angry birds meets the "tower defence" genre so its very familiar and easy to get into. I have to admit, I am utterly incompetent at these type of games and I may be the only person that actually finds angry birds slightly bland and as for tower defence, i've only ever really enjoyed "defence grid". I'm already stuck on level 1-24!

Its interesting to see that you've gone for the option of paying for powerups to assist a player in the game. For me, I would rather attempt to complete the game without "assistance" as its part of the challenges, but i hope a lot of people will be purchasing the extras!

Was the game all written in java/opengl? I've been trying to learn a little about game development for android, but so far i haven't got much further than snake!

I enjoy the challenge too. With the equipment we're hoping to appeal to people who enjoy the game but not necessarily the sometimes frustrating nature of figuring out hard stages (similar to the Mighty Eagle in Angry Birds). We also tried to make the equipment cool and fun to play with for those who just want to support the developers.

Yes, though we're developing a C++ version in parallel for iOS. I recommend LibGdx if you're looking for a relatively low level Android game framework.

The game is truly brilliant. I love everything about it. It's laid out perfectly, and Angry Birds better do something, because Bumbledore is on the way to the top charts on android and beyond!

If I had one suggestion, make the grass blade stronger. I think it's too under-powered.

All in all, you guys have once again blow me away. I just want to say thanks and good luck!

I got my mother to play this game for a while. She complained that the game was left handed and wanted to play in right handed mode. She was constantly holding the phone weird to see under her hand to aim spells.

One thing I noticed, when you go into the level groups, the background doesn't change. This works for the first set of levels, but I think it should have an Icy Blue background when you are selecting a level from Wintrus Citadel.
