Please reduce maxping and remove nomaxping ASAP

We just played a game where we nearly lost in ladder 4 because the other team had two players spiking to 700+ who refused to spectate because it's a nomaxping server. This is pretty stupid. It ruins games. Why were we in ladder 4? I have no idea, some idiot started the ladder there. The problem still exists when 24 players are online, though - half of them can get screwed by some dick who doesn't spec with high ping spikes.

i agree.take out nomax and put limit to 400 or 500. This should cover everyone, but cut those ones, who spikes.

anything over 200 is unplayable for opponent...175-200 is when HC shots start hitting you around corners, balls get shot from dead planes significantly late, etc...

maxping 250 imo and only to be reasonable...

Any server that allows you to spike to 999+ and not get ping kicked is just MADNESS!

It's no fun at all when the other team can teleport across the whole map and score/bomb. Borders on deliberately cheating imo.

What's to stop anyone switching on some torrents and lagging all over the show?

it's 2011, if you can't get below 250ms you should quit playing online games or move away from Europe

+1 to this, I know having red-ping is hard, but I am fed up of BS goals from players like =Special=. I am also of the opinion that if a team picks the server in a league, they shouldn't be allowed to play anyone with 250+ ping.
