Then andy picks an extra map and the overlapped map still gets played? Don't worry, only experienced people in the common sense department can actually figure something out like this. It's ok, you're just the janitor still. In a few years you might start to possibly maybe kind of get the hang of it.

If you get to a second Bo7 (BBQ has to win the first Bo7 in order to play a second one) I will run it in the same format as the first one. It would be useless to make you send 7 maps then have me to unfairly split them up between the two bo7s (one team would get 3 maps the other 4). Also the current map pool for SL includes 15 maps.
As it is now, as the common sense department chief has already explained, there will be 4 maps from each team in the pool (makes 8 maps) if there is an overlap no adjustments will be made (7 maps for 7 games), with more than one overlap I will fill in the remaining spots to have a 7 map pool.

Hope i addressed everything (brackets for dumb people).

They actually wanted to organize themselves to play before or after.
Proleague starts the 19th as long as you can have the games done before it its fine by me. Try to give yourself a week of space in case you go to a second bo7.

I havent received a pm from BBQ and its saturday.

Can't we get a few of the games out of the way? Superbowl starts at 6:30 EST. If we start at the typical 2 pm EST we can probably get 3-4 games out of the way and stop a couple of hours before the Superbowl.

If peeps have places they need to be earlier than that, then it's whatever to me. This tourney has just stretched on for so long, and it takes so long to get organized in each game that I'm hoping we can still play at least a little.

If we completely postpone all the games to next week, theoretically there could be 7 games to play. It's unlikely we do all of those in one session, which would probably make it a 2 week deal. If you guys won, there would be another BO7, which could potentially take another 2 weeks to finish. I don't want to be doing this for a month.

I say if both teams have enough players tomorrow and both captains agree to play we could get a few games done.

You can fit in a whole series in 2.5 hours with spare time.

Also the game is scheduled at 2pm EST tomorrow, you should be getting a reschedule if you know you cant play or this will go on forever.

So you're basically assuming that everyone doesn't actually do anything for the superbowl and just watches it in their living room when it comes on. Not true! I'm not even playing in this, but I'd vote for a postponement if possible. I'd kinda like to watch these and maybe if I'm not too lazy record them.

Noone's assuming that. In fact that's part of the reason for the leeway of stopping a couple of hours earlier than the game starts, or earlier if needed.

This is just about fitting in any games that we can. Parties are of varying length, but most aren't that long before the game. If someone has an engagement that's going to take most of the day then this is where we find out, and then it makes sense to postpone.

Ye well leaving a couple hours isn't enough imho. I'd say if anything, start an hour early and get a few games in. Maybe last for 2 hours?

Arr vs BBQ: 6-4, 6-1, 4-6, 6-4, 3-6, 6-4
Maps: Grotto, Cross, Snow, Cave, Planepark, Labyrinth.
Since there was no map pool, the loser got to pick the map. BBQ got to pick the first map.
