Map in-game seems to have shrunk?
I've got an odd question here: perhaps I'm doing something wrong, but I'm exporting a test photoshop file (at 72 dpi) to a PNG. I import this large PNG into a new map with the exact dimensions of the image. When comparing the imported image in the Map Editor with the image in Photoshop, they look exactly the same:
However, here's what it looks like when testing the map: Why is the size of the map different? Am I doing something wrong, here? |

After image import, the large boxes on the sides can cause sizes to change. Baring this, I haven't payed much attention to scale inside of PS to game. Instead I focus on how it appears in game, and alter PS to compensate.

The "native scale" of the game is 1024 x 768. If you run in windowed mode at 1024 x 768, everything will correspond 1:1 to photoshop pixels. If you run the game at a higher or lower resolution (by default, the game runs at your native desktop resolution) the scaling factor between the "native" and "current" resolutions will apply to the underlying image.

Ah, that would explain it! My resolution had a slightly lower height than the default, hence the difference. That would also explain why I thought the planes were always so small. Now the other resolution makes the planes look horrendously large.

So when am I getting this coop map of yours? You figured out your problem no?

I've been on vacation without internet, but I've managed to create something. Don't worry, it'll be coming soon enough.
