My plane stops responding after 5 seconds

This happens frequently but not all the time, and I can't figure out what's triggering it.

When I'm using mouse control, any input ceases after 5 seconds. If I'm holding down throttle, my plane will abruptly stop afterburning - same goes with shooting.

I thought it was a problem with the mouse; I'm using a Razer Mamba 2012, but I've updated the firmware/drivers, and I'm unable to replicate this bug with other games or other forms of input. It only happens in Altitude.
