How do I add rules to a dedicated server?
Do i do it in the config or ingame? And how?
Thanks in advance. |

Server rules aren't exactly incorporated within Altitude itself, it's up to you to maintain them. The most efficient way to deal with rules is to post a thread in the Server News subforum and list the rules and anything else you want people to know. If people disobey the rules, you or other admins have the ability to kick or ban them for however long you want. There should be an option within the server configurator to add admins by their Vapor ID's. You can also list a link to your server thread in the reason for the ban so that people who want a drawn out reason for their ban or want to complain know where to do so. Good luck!

I'm not sure if he means things like some custom servers have, where you can type !rules, and it gives you a list of rules, or things such as a maxping, playerlimit, level limit etc.

@Premier Stalin
Well yeah that's what I actually meant but people told me I needed a seperate program for that. So I guess I can go with what leggo suggested. Thanks |
