Sunday, i'm gonna broadcast a lot of the matches that i watch LIVE

im gonna set up a livestream account and just announce the whole game live so we don't haave to watch in the server, and take up unneccessary spaces...

So ill set everything up and let you guys know closer to sunday!

Awesome idea!

Make sure you do it properly with words to your corporate sponsors and a cool commentator name and channel. Like ESPN LIVE ALTITUDE SUMMER LEAGUE '09 SPONSORED BY MOUNTAIN DEW

Have you tested this out beforehand? You may want to, as I had trouble getting lag-free broadcasting on Livestream (thus why I record and then release later). There are some guides on livestreaming SC on teamliquid if you need some help getting it setup as well, but you'll obviously have to convert them to altitude-specific stuff

yea i tested it out, but my friends comp doesnt lag at all...
just the broadcasting part (me talking) i haven't tested out, but it shouldn't be a problem

Alright, cool, sounds good

My main issue was that most of the recording solutions that are streamable are not as fast as Fraps. Add on top of that needing to re-encode and resize on the fly and you end up needing a super-beefy computer to handle it all. Glad someone has one that can

And the talking should be the easiest part of all to setup, so I wouldn't worry about that not working.
