A lack of updates to a tiny niche community of players with the attention spans of goldfish will do that. Now excuse me, I'm off to play Halo: Reach online again.

Wait till SL is over and APL season is on, before you pass judgement.

If both ball and tbd are running I'll often just go to ball now. Its not much fun with 2 lasers instakilling you most games as an explodet.
I really want lam to play an explodet for a few games in ladder tbd just so he realises how silly it is at the moment. |

I keep telling myself that they're waiting to release the balance change with the next update patch.

Passable Bombs & Turret drops
I just have to say that the Passable Bomb idea is a bit unorthodox, but I believe it would add a whole new level of play to TBD.
The gameplay would be much more frantic, and would add alittle more 'team' play to TBD. I could see those who don't like ball, being turned off by 'bomb-passing'... As the gameplay would more closely mimic ball. Turret dropping is a very cool idea... Changing each bases' defense to the pilots' tastes and playing styles. (In-game mobile map editing...lol) Anyone got a take on making them Timed, like mines, or Static, like standard turrets? Both options have their merit... |

The updates have slowed down as we've been busy launching Bumbledore, but we haven't forgotten about Altitude and the patch is getting close. Yes, we're planning to adjust laser in the next update. We'll also soon be sponsoring a non-Altitude event that should bring some new players to the Altitude community.

I would like a visual difference between ally bomb carried, ally bomb powerup dropped, neutral bomb powerup dropped, enemy bomb powerup dropped, and enemy bomb carried. This information always felt like it was missing before I learned the history of the game that ball came much later then TBD. Now I understand why it isn't there, but it still feels wrong.
Its annoying that defused bomb and dropped bomb look identical to a distant player. What I fear about this change is how veterans would feel about this. Having this info available changes how TBD plays. It removes one of the requirement crutches of mumble of "what happened to the bomb? Is it lob/defused/even dropped at all?" (If the neutral bomb carried by ally/ememy was visually different then ally/enemy owned bomb, all the more awesome. *gets out diplomacy dice* How many do I get to roll? ^.^ ) |

I second this. Not too big of a deal, but an extra bit of information that would be nice to have.

A possible improvement to TBD: both teams try to kill enemy turrets as fast as possible. I think players will enjoy the turret killing frenzy that is TTD.
