I think your original equation was correct Eto:

9x-7i > 3(3x-7u)
subtracting 9x from both sides yields
-7i > -21u
dividing both sides by -7 (remember to flip the inequality when multiplying by a negative number)
i<3u

I'm terrible because I forgot to flip an inequality? Fine, laugh at me all you want, I'm not going to bang my head against the wall the whole evening because of a minor calculation mistake. Math has never been my thing, but if that means I have to stay out of all math-related threads, I might as well jump off a cliff right now.

If i < 3u you can still solve it further, because i already has an established value as an imaginary number thus u is the variable you need to solve for.

i= √-1|

(√-1)/(3) < u

so actually the variable "u" would at the beginning of the solution.

u > i/3 or u > (√-1)/3
