Okay, bear with me. This is an update to ball_surreal as the map name suggests. A lot of people told me that ball_surreal was too large and I would tend to agree. So this map is more condensed height-wise. The map editor doesn't allow you to redefine the map dimensions once you have made it, so I was forced to use a new name: thus, ball_surreal2.
I tried to be more conscious of obstacle placement around the goal, allowing enough open space for defending, while forcing opposing planes to choose between 1 of 3 points of attack. The pass-through at the bottom was removed, as I was told this offsets the overall balance and causes problems for zone defenders. I also rounded all corners on the objects in the middle to cause less frustration where major fire-fights are likely to occur.

I tested it with a few planes against a full set of bots and it seems to work pretty well. It's hard to say, though, because bots are dumb and never go top except in the middle. I would really appreciate anyone testing this and providing feedback here...even if that feedback is just (dare I say it?) "Good job, moog!"
The graphics are preliminary, so please don't bother me about them. This will get fancier and less mundane once I feel that the layout is pretty solid.
