TA the new update..
Ok I understand you guys want to balance the game, but you've gone a little to far with the ta. like 70% over 7 seconds r something.... its horrible and as a ta runner its ruined tbd for me obv. how about freaking 40-50% shorter ta and idgaf about time.. but this is just horrendous.

Guys, I think the real victim in this nerf is the rubber rev domber. THINK OF THE DOMBERS.
Seriously though, this nerf is well deserved. Last time I played there was hardly any reason to run in anything that isn't a TA and I think this is the first change since then. |

Personally I think that this nerf has gone too far in some places and not others. I would much rather see the TA anchor length reduced to 85% at all times and further reduced to maybe 65% when carrying the bomb.
As it stands (as well as with the laser nerf) TA is not a viable runner, but it is mad OP in terms of 1 v 1 fights and it's almost impossible to kill in any plane. The only combination that reliably works is a support plane (EMP/acid/Whale) and a DPS (HC/Trick/Laser) and only then if the TA decides to engage rather than flee. It needs a small nerf to it's overall manoeuvrability and a moderate nerf in the running dept. Rather than a single huge nerf on only one aspect of the plane. |

You are wrong, TA is still fine. I'm sure other competent players will agree.
See: my match history for TBD ladder yesterday. Oh no, let's all whine because we can't abuse a broken plane anymore. Oh wait. The only difference is that most players can no longer broken-plane abuse their way to 1v3, 1v4, 1v5, etc bull**** hits, and can't spend an entire spawn cycle anchoring outside their opponent's base waiting for teammates to spawn en masse...you have to use your team to push and abuse TIMINGS, not your PERKS, just like every other plane. 1v1 is a rather different situation than dogfights in 5v5 competitive tbd.
TA is no longer as strong at pressuring the enemy team or hitting 1v5. it's significantly weaker in open space since you can't anchor back into cover as easily, and one well-placed emp's surface area covers the entire area a TA can TA back into, i think. |

The problem with TA was never the distance of the anchor but rather how often it could anchor and with basically zero energy and almost no cool down.
You can make the distance whatever you want to (within reason...not half the map obvsly) and it only takes a little planning (and even less teamwork) to work the anchor spot, especially with the bomb where it is slower anyway just like any other plane. This is one way to nerf it, but nerfs it too hard as a runner just to appease ppl's frustration as getting burned by the un-nerfed anchor. There are better ways to do it, like requiring more energy to anchor IMO. Can't believe I'm defending anchor anyway. So is this nerf for bomb carry only or ball too? |

When carrying the bomb only does the TA length decrease 42% over a 7 second period.
Otherwise, in any form of play mode (1DM, TBD, Ball, etc.) Time Anchor functions as normal. |
