Default Indie Royale Alpha Collection

I know we like to share information about indie game bundles and this one looks pretty interesting. We have three games: Towns, 3079 and Wyv and Keep. All of these are in alpha, so while they may be buggy they will continue to be developed and you can get them all for $5.16 at the moment.

Towns takes the city management game and adds RPG features. You develop a city which is unfortunately built directly above a dungeon. The screenshots give me a sort of Dwarf Fortress feel, kind of a random note.

3079 looks pretty damn exciting to me, like a science-fiction Minecraft with RPG elements and...best of all...a grappling hook. Multi-player support, procedurally generated weapons and items, skill system, fortress building, damage specific to body parts (meaning headshots), complete storyline...yeah, kinda drooling looking at the potential.

Wyv and Keep
is a 2D co-op puzzle platformer with local/online co-op. The game is 75% complete, plans for monthly updates and you'll be able to make your own puzzles when it's finished.

All games are or will be available for PC, Mac and Linux.

I don't think I've been more excited about an indie bundle for a while. Hoping that some other Altitude players will join in my excitement and I can get some multi-player in with others.

This seems to be worst bundle for me. Basically, pay for 3 alphas, which could not even get further.
3079 from trailer looks exactly like Ace of Spades, but not for free. I will buy it only if there will be huge party to play with. (If you ever can play those games online)

To each their own. I enjoy alpha-funding because it helps people develop unique games and if the games turn out well, awesome, I got it for like 75% the final price. If not, it was only $5 and the games are still relatively playable in alpha state. If not for alpha funding I doubt Minecraft would've ever hit as big as it has.

3079 shows a lot of potential but clearly needs work, Wyv and Keep has been wonderful retro goodness and I haven't quite played much of Towns but we'll see how that goes.

Not completely on-topic but hey.

Path of Exile is a free to play game by fans of Diablo, they are having an open beta this weekend, so thought I would shout about it incase anyone like Diablo/Torchlight style games.
