Scrimmages

I know a lot of us are tired of playing on the regular TBD servers which more often than not turns into a ratio-whoring fest. Personally, the only reason why I play the game during the week is to verbally abuse conartist. And to get sick HC snipes. Neither of which are helpful during league games.

So since there's a bunch of organized teams set up thanks to the summer league, I'm proposing that we organize a bunch of scrimmages during the week. It'll be more fun than playing with lvl 27 bomb circling sue and lvl 60 mr. demo-bomber-player-and I-don't-cross-the-middle-but-i-can-spam-chokepoints-with-grenades-and-get-a-5:1-k/d-ratio-and-i-think-i'm-good joe.

So post something like this:

Times Available (EST):

And then the teams can get in touch (on your own) and play on the Sleague servers. IF there is a lot of interest in scrimmages, especially at peak times, I'd be willing to set up a "reserve field space" sort of thing where the teams agree on a time and a day and let me know. But that's only if there's overcrowding. We're a small enough community where this shouldn't be a problem, but we'll see.

But yea, post with the relevant information if you're interested in scrimmaging. I'd need to talk to the other Lobstars before anything can be settled for us, but I know a lot of us would be down for some semi-competitive play.

Me, probably speaking for a for others teams as well, this is a great idea! For people who want serious games, but without the whole trouble of a big tourney. A scrimmage server for those on teams could play together and have loads more fun than messing around with the jerks and idiots of the rest of the game.
