Controls Bug for Dvorak Users

Hey, guys. Congratulations on the new game. I went to set up Altitude in Lion 10.7.2 and while it installed correctly, it doesn't handle the Dvorak keyboard layout well. I can't remember if this has always been the case or not but would it be much trouble to fix it?

For example, when I type home row keys into controls options (asdfghjkl for qwerty users) the Dvorak equivalents are set. For example, to change SDF to the equivalents OEU, I just click each one and type the Dvorak key in the same location and the letter changes. However, when I change commands on the top (qwerty) or bottom (zxcvb) rows, the qwerty keys are being set even though I'm using Dvorak. This is especially a problem because typing the qwerty D changes to Dvorak E but typing qwerty E, which should change it to Dvorak ".", keeps it as E. Now I have two things mapped to E. That's not the only one.

I'm seeing a lot of games (even Flash games lately!) use some sort of internationalization/localization to keep the keys in the same location no matter what. That would be ideal because I wouldn't have to change anything -- I could just sit down and hit the same physical keys as qwerty players without having to mess with settings. If you don't want to do that, then could you at least please make all three rows of the keyboard behave consistently?

You know you don't want to alienate this enormous demographic.

Hey Triped -- very strange bug, I'll look into it. In the meantime you can toggle to a normal layout during setup or hand-edit the ~Altitude/config/options.xml, but either way it'll be a pain.

Thanks. I just tried changing to qwerty and entering the Dvorak settings. Interestingly, everything works except for setting your E to my "." I can do the setting but I can't get anything to happen.
