is what Steam pops up to tell me when I try to launch altitude. started happening about two weeks ago when there was either an alti patch or steam patch, idk i don't play frequently enough to ping the exact date

Try reinstalling:

Restart Steam -> Right/Ctrl+Click Altitude on the games list -> Delete Local Content -> Reinstall

If that doesn't work you might need to reboot your computer or change your Steam content server:

View -> Settings -> DOWNLOADS + CLOUD -> Download region

I've gotten this error several times in other Steam games. My solution has always been to restart steam. Other steps
