First time I've ever seen an indie developer do this kind of thing, I thought it was pretty interesting:

Actually, that game is a freak of nature in so many ways. It's an extremely well-reviewed Gamemaker commercial project and it's a tower defense game known mostly for its story/setting. Seriously, that's some strangeness right there.
EDIT: Blah, nevermind. He doesn't actually follow through on what he said he was going to do. Not like a week would've been long enough to really see results, but was still an interesting idea.
