Locomotion isnt finished? Oo It looked/played great the times Ive played it.. would LOVE to have this map in a tournament and/or even on the official servers. Its a great map, and a lot "lighter" than the other maps, which is a nice change :]

Id like to create some maps myself, but kinda busy with some PHP stuff lately :'<

I'd like to try my hand at making a couple, but I don't want to start out by making maps that look or play like crap. Now, I know horrible design when I see it, but is there a topic where, say, the differences in play quality in the official maps are examined, and people recommend/ask for certain design elements in future maps? If not, do you think there'd be interest in one?

That is actually a really good idea and I'll try to work on that during the next few days.

I've come up with a bunch of tight design ideas, but I am currently without a tablet or photoshop (should get that soon), so my map making looks like MS paint **** (which it is)

and by tight design ideas, I don't mean **** design ideas. I'm not talking like "oh, prison break 3! players can spend half an hour escaping from a box!' or that one ****ty map where all the walls are made of turrets and you just spawn into them and die

Core, Mayhem, Woods, and Locomotion were all done in photoshop exclusively.

Yeah but have you seen prison break 4!? It's WAY different than prisons 1-3. You'll never find your way out of that mess. And theres a cake at the end.
