Mike's Mafia Madness Game Thread

This thread will be where you post your comments throughout the days.

Roles will be sent out at:
* Sometime before Sunday 8 pm PDT.

First day ends at:
* Wednesday 8 pm PDT.

7. Xyao - Generic townie - Lynched Day 2
3. GGQ - Miller - Killed night 2
2. Ribilla - Vanilla Mafia - Lynched day 3
6. Flexio - Hooker - Modkilled day 3

Game will consist of:
* Blue Townies (no special abilities)
* At most 1 doctor (can visit 1 person per night and save them from death)
* At most 1 tracker (can track 1 person per night and see who they visited)
* At most 1 watcher (can watch 1 person per night and see who visits them)
* At most 1 granny (will kill anyone who visits her at night. Can't die during the night - can only be lynched)
* At most 1 cop (could have both) (can investigate 1 person per night and see their alignment)
* At most 1 insane cop (could have both) (can investigate 1 person per night and see their alignment - only it's the opposite of the truth)
* At most 1 miller (appears at mafia to normal cop. appears at town to insane cop. appears as town to themselves). Note: If lynched they appear as mafia. If killed they appear as miller.
* At most 1 oracle (upon death will choose 1 player to reveal their role)
* At most 1 vanilla maf (no special abilities. Participates in mafia chatter.)
* At most 1 janitor (can visit someone once per game and "hide" their role. Only they will know of the role. Everyone else will just see that person x died)
* At most 1 lawyer (can visit a mafia once per night and make them appear as innocent to cop (mafia to insane cop))
* At most 1 godfather (appears as town to normal cop. appears as mafia to insane cop)
* At most 1 hooker (can visit 1 person per night. their role will be blocked for the night (i.e. cop won't investigate, doctor won't heal, etc))



NOTE: See changes to the miller. The miller will appear as mafia if lynched during the day. The miller will appear as miller if killed by the mafia. The miller appears as town to themselves. (If there is a miller in this game ;D)

Updated op. Decided to just have days end at the same time no matter what. Everyone has to vote. No lynch is fine. If vote is tied at the end of the time it will result in a no lynch.

What if he's town and you killed a good town player?

Do you think it's a good idea to lynch skilled players first so they can't disrupt town too much as mafia, or to lynch newbie players since they can't help town later anyways?

This is not the random voting stage. It's the scumhunting stage, where we establish a game plan and get initial reads. I think we should lynch today, but absolutely do not think we should ever lynch randomly in any situation.

Fu, do you think we should get any kind of claim? Why or why not?

so anything people say can affect anyone's judgement and its all going to be scummy... hmmm ok, so i have to decide very carefully what i say...

I don't find anything about Kennedy to be particularly suspicious. I just don't find DDP to be especially less innocent. He and Kennedy are sometimes always not teammates, usually definitely. Therefore, Kennedy is mafia.

Balln if this early on random voting came down to DDP and GGQ, who would you lynch?

Neither, actually. If we're voting and lynching players based on skill, then as a town we aren't doing our job. We should be relying on our reads and how likely we think people are going to turn up to be mafia.

I don't like the Kennedy votes, personally. I would much rather get someone a little more scummy or inactive for today's lynch.

This, with focus on the inactive part. Going to vote flexio for 2 reasons, first is he hasn't posted and second is he didn't claim last game when about to be lynched/didn't provide anything last game as a town player.

yet, u don't read my other posts, how i basically acknowledge myself as a fellow epic mafia player, and pointing out at the blatant protection posts he's been posting

its first day, we need a good random lynch, i thought kennedy would be good... mafia has to participate, or if not and the night takes too long, then we'll know who the mafia are....

right now, i dont know if he's mafia, but its a good guess... but i'm also down for a lynch on an inactive member of town

also, the fact that would occur if kennedy were mafia, would make me completely awesome... its a bandwagon i started, and i'm sorry kennedy if i'm wrong, but its day 1... and i'm willing to vote elsewhere if someone acts more scummy, or by majority :P
