Why are bots not useing rev ?

Flying with rev is much different from flying normally. To allow the AI to navigate decently with rev would be difficult. Another difficulty would be for them to know when to fly backwards.

As this game focuses on pvp, the bot AI doesn't need to be strong. Combine these reasons together and there isn't a strong reason to spend the time creating that component of the AI.

Bots can use rev, they just barely ever do. Once every so often you might notice a bot using it for a split second when they're touching the ground

Same reason why bots are so horrible with time anchor... they too dang stupid.

Bots do their best to fly in a straight line and are only programmed to release the ball either when a teammate flies in front of them or when they're proximal to the goal. When the goal is not directly in sight with a straight path to it, bots don't even register the idea of shooting.

Trick shots require some sort of creativity which, being AI, bots clearly lack.
