Senior Prom

Asking people to go do stuff i.e. Prom has no bad outcomes.. someone saying no? Like you give a ****. Someone making fun of you? Like you give a **** about someone without anything better to do then be in your business.

Life is simple.

Just go do stuff.

Never intended on going to prom, got asked to three which I felt bad saying no to. The whole guy-must-ask-the-girl convention is bull***t, but i know what you're talking about in being traditional. If you have a group of single friends who are going, just roll with them, that way you'll still have the whole prom experience. Otherwise, either ask a girl who you're not totally close with or skip it all together. Honestly you wouldn't be missing much, just tux's & dresses, buffet food, picture-taking galore, and a crappy dj playing top 40 songs. Don't think of it as the defining moment of your high school career; it's just a formality and bigger & better things are on the way.

the only reason why I would ever recommend prom is to learn formal social interactions with a date. It's important later. Unless you never plan on getting a desk-type job or a long term girlfriend. Then its less useless. Prom sucks unless you go with a bunch of your friends and just have fun anyway

go with a rando, go with a group of the rest of your friends imo, and don't expect anything to develop from asking the rando. Just have fun

Prom is ****ing sick. So just ask someone. If they say no then its not a big deal. Everyone gets rejected its just nature. I guarantee you that someone will say yes. Btw you should ask someone at least 2 weeks before so they can get their dress and **** just a heads up haha.
