I would recommend not just having random votes come in for people who aren't even interested (although who says the people who are on teams are necessarily interested in this to begin with?). It would be ridiculous to expect players who are not in the league to show up to an all-stars match, and rude to put them on the ballot and expect them to. If they wanted to play organized games, I'm quite sure they could find a team that would take them.
Look, we are all learning about democracy!

Ha, although if anyone's up for even more annoyances next time we could toss in awards like "Best FFAer" and "Best Bomb Carrier" "Best Dogfighter" "Best Defense"...etc.
That said, this vote right here is more work than I'd want to do. Don't sweat the haters Gumby, this is some good stuff.

So on that note... Why the **** aren't I in the top 5?? I'm always on and playing even if I haven't played every tournament round!! Kidding of course, we all know the answer to that question... Oh and if it makes you feel any better, you were number one on my list Kuja <3.

Just heard there was a vote going on... Had a MASSIVE weekend, and am still recovering.
Just letting you know i put myself in second, because not receiving a single vote would actually be quite embarrassing. Especially when owning Kuja is like eating breakfast... Easy and satisfying. Anyhow, maybe I will fair better in next years popularity contest. It's hard getting votes when half your team has abandoned you!  On a serious note, i'm sure it will make for a great game!
