SL8 Week 1

Week 1: Sunday 16th June 2013, 2PM EDT/6PM GMT

Map pool: (Rounds 1 and 2) to come
Round 1: cave, ice, mayhem2, core, cross
Round 2: asteroids, funnelpark, grotto, labyrinth, lost city

Servers: Bottom team chooses server and starts veto. Away teams may switch servers after game 1 or 2, but have 60 seconds to do so, both teams have 5 minutes to have picked a map and have teams ready****
****Note: Servers chosen must be stable and is the responsibility of the server owner to ensure server stability. Also note, a ladder admin must be present to use the ladder servers if not available you must choose a different server.

Substitution rules:

Games will be started 7v7, but there will be 2 subsitutions allowed per game. Meaning a subbed player can be subbed back in for any other player.

Map Pool: (Please make sure your server has all these maps if you intend to use that server, add the ones on the bottom because they will be a last minute addition if added at all)

Difference between EDT and GMT is 4 hrs, so it's 6pm GMT.

Also I assume that the home team can switch server back after 2 games?

Guys please try to play your games today in the altitourney servers with Vanishing hosting some EU servers I believe we should have enough. If we start to experience unstability in the servers we can switch. It will be nice to give Carlos's work a proper test.

I think I recorded everything except for BBQ vs T and part of the first game of Ball vs arr.

I will not be doing regular season highlights every week like I did for the last SL (still need to wrap these up lol). They take a long time and I am too busy. However I may occasionally do highlights for a very intense/competitive match. Definitely will not be any highlights this week as I have no time. When/if I join a clan I will likely only be able to record 1 set of games per round.

I will be uploading the match recordings, but it will likely take at least until late tomorrow or Tuesday to get them all up due to amount of matches and time required to encode long 720p videos.

In other news, I believe everything went smoothly in the games played on my AT EU servers. I will add an additional server for next week since there are a lot of games being played on EU servers.

Again did not get any of BBQ vs Tadow. Kind of decided at the last second to record three games at once rather than two. So Ball vs arr game one is missing the first 10 to 11 minutes out of 12 which had been low scoring and really competitive. I started the recording right after Ball went up 2-3 and last 3 Ball goals came real fast.

Sorry, but don't want black bars in the video. Want to eventually use this channel to try and bring new players to the game. No widescreen can be a turn off. Already difficult enough to get anyone to try Altitude and don't want to do anything to make it even harder.

u could put pictures of dicks over the black bars and it'd be more visually appealing than the stretch but ok
