Round 3:antre, darkwar, planepark, cave, mayhem2
Round 4: warehouse, maze, snow, grotto, core

Servers: Bottom team chooses server and starts veto. Away teams may switch servers after game 1 or 2, but have 60 seconds to do so, both teams have 5 minutes to have picked a map and have teams ready****
****Note: Servers chosen must be stable and is the responsibility of the server owner to ensure server stability. Also note, a ladder admin must be present to use the ladder servers if not available you must choose a different server.

Should have everything recorded except the first goal of game 3 for r87 vs ball as I somehow did not notice that one starting. Busy a lot of the evening today, so will only get 2 or 3 up tonight. Should be finished by very late tomorrow or Tuesday.

Yeah regular season of 1 round robin, then a double elimination 8 team playoff.

I don't see the point of holding a double elimination tourney if we don't include all 8 teams. If you would prefer doing a 4 or 6 team single eliminiation tourney that is fine.

This is pretty much my exact thoughts to why to hold a 8 team playoff.

I enjoy the double elimination style. It's nice to get that second chance to get back.

It's fine, don't get me wrong, it's just not playoffs anymore then, it's rather another tournament.

I agree with having an 8 team double elim playoffs, but I will need to change my motivational speeches! Each one has been along the lines of "We don't win this, we're out of the playoffs"...

Heh, indeed... it'd now be "the higher in the ranking we get, the higher the chance to go far through playoffs". Regular season isn't useless since it ranks the seeds for playoffs. Kind of punishing but can't see any other way.

6 team isn't too bad either IMO though, is there any interest?
