Winners:
1st: cave, asteroids, lost city, darkwar, labyrinth (bo3)
2nd: cross, snow, grotto, core, funnelpark (bo3)
Semis: cave, grotto, ice, labyrinth, cross, lost city, mayhem2 (bo5)
finals: grotto, planepark, core, darkwar, mayhem 2, snow, labyrinth
If Necessary finals part II: cave, ice, asteroids, cross, maze, funnelpark, hardcourt

Losers:
1st: cross, snow, grotto, core, funnelpark (bo3)
2nd: planepark, hardcourt, labyrinth, ice, maze (bo3)
semis: cave, grotto, ice, labyrinth, cross, lost city, mayhem2 (bo5)
finals: planepark, snow, darkwar, hardcourt, asteroids, maze, core (bo5)

Servers:Highest seed (lowest number) chooses server and starts veto. Away teams may switch servers after game 1 or 2, but have 60 seconds to do so, both teams have 5 minutes to have picked a map and have teams ready****
****Note: Servers chosen must be stable and is the responsibility of the server owner to ensure server stability. Also note, a ladder admin must be present to use the ladder servers if not available you must choose a different server.

Finally got around to doing the losers bracket final and now all three videos are up. It was delayed a bit due to wanting to take some time to enhance the playoff bracket image to look sharper in the video.

Delayed a little this week as I manually added in the goal/assist pop up and didn't get around to starting until yesterday.

I do want to do some highlight videos for this season. I am thinking a finals highlight video (next match, not last Sunday) plus a "Road to the Finals" or similar video for the SL8 champ that goes back and highlights some of their best plays from the rest of their games. Maybe a nice incentive to go out and win on Sunday.

Hate to focus on just one clan, but I am not sure what would be feasible to put together for the rest of the clans. Might be something I put on hold and work on in the time between end of the upcoming APL season and the next SL. I can't possibly go back through all the games as that would take an insanely long time, but if anyone has any ideas or wants to assist by watching games and letting me know the time of any good highlights or anyone wants to add any commentary to the upcoming vids let me know.

Ask every team to watch through their games and let them pick say 5-10 instances for each category.

What categories would you want to get highlights from? Trickshots / longshots / awesome goals / fails / passes / awesome plays in general?

I am not counting on anyone doing anything like that. One person per team definitely will not happen. Just being realistic.

If there was someone who wanted to go through all their team's match recordings and send me a list of possible highlights, I could do a video for that team. Finding the highlights, especially across an entire season, takes 90% of the time to make the video. Would want all types of highlights, but only the absolute best plays or biggest fails for the team (or if you have trouble cutting down the list at least rank them in order starting with what you think is the best).

I would love to do a best of SL8 highlight video with only the best of the best highlights, but just committing to going back through the SL8 champ's videos and editing the highlights is going to take an extremely long time.

So unlikely anything else will be done other than finals highlights and season highlights for the winner and just hope that next SL I will have time to do weekly highlight videos (or at least time each week to find and make note of the highlights and put together a video at the end of the season with them).

I'm still trying to do something similar with my Post-Season Awards but there appears to be very little interest in people helping me out. Perhaps you and I can come up with some sort of collaboration. I greatly appreciate all these videos you've been uploading, they've been a great help to me, not sure how many other teams have been crazy enough to use them for scouting as I am.

Unfortunately had some disconnects during finals as you probably noticed. Missed first Vlix goal in game one and got disconnected before the end of the 2nd match. It was 2-5 when I disconnected so not sure if I missed any Vlix goals or just the final Ball goal.

If anyone happens to have a screenshot of the end game screen for the hardcourt game send it to me. (update: received screenshots from XX2, thanks. Also looking back at the video it was actually 3-5 when I disconnected so did get all the Vlix goals. So didn't miss much at all.)

Finals highlights would have been done weeks ago had my primary hard drive + RAM on my main desktop not suddenly started failing at the same time. And now all highlight videos have to be put on hold to work on the new ladder.
