Default Humble Bundle Origin Pack

This is some pretty sweet games for 5 dollars, even if you have to use origin for some of them.

Some pretty sweet games for just a $1, and you can continue doing what you've always done. Using steam.

It took me some 5 minutes for it to load the "insert code page" and another 5 to process the code. The bundle is selling about 1 thousand copies per minute so Origin must be under a lot of stress.

What surprises me the most is that EA isn't getting any money out of this, all of their share is going to charity.

I mean...
EA...
Not getting any monies...
Prime evil of the gaming industry...

I don't compute.

It makes perfect sense if you think about it. EA is a drug dealer giving you a cheap taste before it screws your video game life over. If only the cookies the Dark Side was offering didn't look so good...still might be tempted into grabbing this but no more than a dollar from me.

To rephase 3v, you have to become a member of Origin to use all of these games. In theory, this means more users that may buy stuff on their system, or in the very least, more touting power for Origin to say "we are catching up to Steam!"

This is a marketing scheme from EA with a dash of PR.

I think its a rather large ammount of PR, needed after all the bad PR they were getting.

So does it work on Steam or do I need Origin?

You said for "some of them", which ones do I need origin?

Ugh: nevermind, I already have Crysis 2 & that's the only game I'm interested in. I have Burnout on my PS3, the rest of the games I don't care for. Nice deal for those that do though!

I got all of them to work on Steam except for BF3 & Sims3...

You have to sign up at origin to redeem those...

Anyone who wants my BF3 or Sims3 is welcome to my codes...

It shows on the front page what platform they are on.
Mind you, they give out origin keys for every game and steam keys for the selected 5 so technically you get 2 copies for those 5.

Also, every game has an individual key.

I now have an Origin Populous code up for grabs... Any takers?
