White point in the middle of the screen

When I open Altitude,
a white point in the middle of the screen appears:

under gnome it seems like a white point with a black circle arround

under kde it is only the point (white)
when I close Altitude the point remains, untill I close the three "java" files which are still loaded.

perhaps should the game close java, after gaming, beacause its uncomfortable to close them everytime manually (while gaming the point isn't distracting.

Thanks for the very detailed bug report. This issue should be resolved in the latest installers available from http://nimblygames.com/download/. Note: because the issue was with the launcher (which is never updated) you must reinstall to get this fix.
