No sound plz help!

Hey thanks 4 readin. I hope You cand help me out.
I have no sound for the soundFX . All I get is static. the music works perfectly fine but everything else, Nada.
Ive Tried taking sound off, then putting back on, nothin.

As Technician says, a reinstall should work -- there was a patch a couple weeks back that corrupted sound effects for a few unlucky Mac users. Please post here if reinstalling doesn't fix it.
