I wish people actually helped their team in TBD

Most of the time I play TBD half the players do nothing but camping in their half and try to get a good ratio.

Even when we have the bomb they don't try to help us make a team run, they just keep going in circles around waiting for enemies to kill. This is particulary annoying in Hills, Lostcity and Cave. Even if we drop our bomb and it's not defused they don't try to make a run with it. They let it fade away. Why bother? It will ruin their precious ratio.

In middle-bomb maps it's not so much like that, but there's still a problem. And it's even worse. Everytime the opponents take the bomb to their base, I'm the only one trying to chase them and steal it. What is everyone else doing? If there is only one bomb around and it's in their base right where we can steal and deliver it, why don't you try to do so? Oh that's right, it will probably get you killed and ruin your ratio.

The whole purpose of TBD is to hit their base and avoid getting hit. Not to get a good ratio. Learn some teamwork please or go play FFA.

I don't mean to question your strict authority on how people should enjoy their game, but a vast majority of players seem to suggest otherwise.

Funny, I was just noticing yesterday how many crappy players would grab the bomb, type "back me up!" and make a suicidal dive into the worst possible choke point, miss with all their shots and fly right into a director or remote mine. Then they'd act like the attack didn't work because we all had no sense of teamwork.

I'd follow you, Beagle, but some teammates just aren't worth defending.

I help my team by killing people.

Most players on the servers are too dumb to realize the easiest way to win tbd is to kill the other team, then send in the bomb carrier.

no one cares, its a pub, it doesnt matter if u win or lose

plus, clanless people might be trying to impress people to get into a clan

1.Have Bomb? No
Camp, Defend, Collect Power-ups.

2.Have Bomb? Yes
Charge! Spam! Kill! Win.

(Note: won't work if you're the only one doing it)

Yeah, that is all I want, but most of the team go with option 1 whether we have the bomb or not

Kinda sucks that we can't have a good TBD match unless it's a clan match or at least a bunch of experienced players.

go summer league server for good real TBD though some inexperienced people have started to infliltrate.

yeah, honestly this is the main reason I play league games. it's the only way to get good TBD these days, esp for euros.

DMCM actually has a good point... but in my point of view i wont really care if they're helping the team or not but at least killl the plane that's chasing me when i have the big bomb.

Well SC2 beta got pushed back to 2010, can your company do any better?

Nah, SC2 beta's (supposedly) this year. If rumors from Team Liquid are to believed not till Nov/Dec though.

And I'm on League of Legends beta, probably played like 25 games or so. It's pretty fun, and the in-game UI is a huge improvement over DotA. There's some annoying leveling elements that I'm not a fan of though. We'll see how much they streamline things.
