Default Happy Valentines Day!

Damage - Yo La Tengo "I used to think about you all the time, now I think about you all the time"

Severed Lips - Dinosaur Jr. "Let the world be free of my disease"

Untitled 8 - Sigur Ros "Icelandic"

I Could Have Lied - Red Hot Chili Peppers "I don't care, you see. So what if I bleed?"

Down in a Hole - Alice in Chains "I'd like to fly, but my wings have been so denied"

Fleurette Africaine - Duke Ellington Bass

The Beggar - Mos Def "Ooh baby I love you"

Sex Syrup - Slick Mahoney "I think I love you baby"

Apology - Danny Godinez Band. Good luck finding that one. I think I found it in some Umphrey's McGee torrent at some point. I have it saved on my computed if someone wants to teach my ignint ass how to upload. It's literally my favorite song of all time. Here's a sample of this dude if anyone cares.

Feel free to add!

on topic now, give these a listen if you haven't heard em

Erotokritos - Ross Daly (traditional Cretan song)

Who Do You Love - The Band (original B.Diddley) raaaaah this movie never gets old!! brilliant version, one of my favourite live performances ever

I'll Play the Blues for You - Albert King

Playground Love - Air

Ballade no.1 in G Minor - Chopin (interpretation A. Rubinstein)

Andante Festivo - Sibelius had to search for a slower version of this for ages. notice how the version conducted by Sibelius himself is much, much slower than all the popular recordings (the audio is a bit inconsistent though so i picked this one)

Amor de Loca Juventud - BVSC

Tango to Evora - Notis Mavroudis (original L. McKennitt)

Romeo & Juliet - Dire Straits dat sax @ 6:20

Under Your Spell - Desire

Willie Dixon - You Shook Me

Amadou & Mariam - Je pense à toi with english subs

Saw them for the first time in a huge indoor/outdoor amphitheater in Philly a few years back. Laying on the grass while seeing & hearing that was incredible.

It's a dream of mine to see them (and Of Monsters and Men) at some point in Iceland, especially outdoors like this

hm, yeah completely different atmosphere, but the beautiful scenery must be just as good as the visuals

Anther show I went to that had crazy good visuals was Amon Tobin in 2012. He was mixing inside this sort of structure made of blank cubes which had images projected on them. Check out the first few minutes of this, it doesn't do it justice at all cause you cant perceive the 3D effect or the scale of the structure, but you may get the general idea. The music in itself I didn't like, it felt like it was complementary to the light show

around 1:30 into the video
