Afterburner
Afterburner ideas
-make afterburners a separate key -make afterburners (and weapons) use ammo, which is refilled by landing in order to balance this 'in flight -clips could more or less emulate the current 'recharge -weapons could a jam or w.e for a half a second or something after the afterburners are used. using the star system, stars could increase the amount of ammo or fuel that a plane can carry. |

Ammo concept: no. I'll be nice and explain why, but it should be obvious. Simplicity is good. Refilling ammo is tedious and a completely unnecessary gameplay technique - the only reason to add it would be a sense of realism, which is absurdly unnecessary. There is absolutely nothing wrong with the current system - planes who use afterburner are penalized and people aren't pissed off by the fact that they run out of ammo in a fight and get destroyed for no reason other than there were a lot of enemy planes to shoot at. |

I think a separate(optional) key so you can use afterburner anytime, not just a full throttle combined with the old throttle system(no-noob friendly auto-stall fixes, also optional) would allow for some more flying technique.
For instance say some explodet(fatty) stalls you, or sends you somewhere you don't want to go. Many times you won't have time to get out of the stall and some afterburner would help more. (kind of like how the buffed biplane recoil is pretty useful(but it sends you backwards instead of forwards)) |

I believe that right now your throttle is automatically set to max once you've stalled. So yah, you can immediately start afterburning when you stall.
