APL8 Week 3

Map pool:
Round 5: Mayhem, woods, heights, underpark, focus.
Round 6: Fallout, middleground, scrapyard, cave, core.

Servers: Top games: APL 1,2,3,4. Bottom games: Ladder servers 1,2 (ask a ladder admin to start you the tournament)

Format: Bo3

since KLF only has 1 game in the next two weeks, can you change the schedule to match up teams so the season can be ended faster?

We can play Pew Pew to speed it up since they only have 1 match also.

I would have to make another challonge and there would still be teams without games since some teams have played less. So no it cant be done.

KLF has 1 game in 2 weeks....

In these 2 weeks, 4 teams recieve bye's, because of 4 rounds

two teams dropped, which means 8 possible teams aren't playing the respective round...

i say

do round 5,6,7 this week

8,9,10 next week

11,12,13 next week

and start playoffs right away =_=

just schedule scrims against teams on those days, or play games ahead of time if you want. i don't really want to play 3 matches this weekend, thx.

assuming u keep the current challonge and schedules, twisted doesnt even have games for the last 3 rounds, meaning they will play 1 game in 3 weeks (excluding playoffs, and including rest week before playoffs)

round 5/6 - week 1
round 7/8 - week 2
round 9/10 - week 3
round 11/12 - week 4
round 13 - week 5 (or with week 4)

but if a break is included before playoffs, its 5 weeks..........plus the extra 3 that everyone loves to take for double elim playoffs

this just deters teams from playing such competitions, twisted might lose practice or form for playoffs........

we already take weeks off, there is no point to this structure, even if two teams dropped out.........

cant do that if mappools aren't released for the whole season

if we were worried about our form we would just scrim in the off weeks with whatever teams weren't playing

We cant have teams play 3 rounds per week just to suit KLF, its not gonna happen.
