Default SL 9 Week 1

Ok here it is. I was thinking of having 2 rounds per week and one round the last week or if you want 3 rounds the 2nd week.

Time 7 PM GMT

Some rules

Bo3
2 subs per game as it has been the last SL.

Map Pick

Home picks server (low) They will be able to pick servers before the game but they have 5 min to do so. they can pick servers after 1 and 2nd game and have 5 min to do aswell but if they have picked the server before the game they arent allowed to pick another server after that.

Away picks map (top) this means that the team have the chanse to veto first.

Maps

Round 1 ball_asteroids, ball_grotto, ball_mayhem2, ball_lostcity, ball_snow

Round 2 ball_cave, ball_ice, ball_labyrinth, ball_planepark, ball_core

Maybe do a home and an away match vs every opponent like last APL? Otherwise it's only 2 or 3 weeks

This. Having a home and away match against each other team makes it more even and fair, plus it makes SL 5 weeks, which is a better length

One other thing: are you increasing the roster size, like you were planning?

Also idk how many Americans will be unavailable this Sunday due to traveling home after the thanksgiving holiday. It should probably be ok but I figured I'd give you a heads up.

Oh right. Well i cant do much about it unless you want to move the first week to next sunday. I suggested this sunday as preseason day but not many wanted that and now some want sl to last longer witch means it will have to have a break for christmas anyways which many in the begining didnt want. Thats why we didnt have preseason this sunday.

Taking breaks is not a bad thing to do, despite what everyone says. I would say have the games this weekend still, if teams can't make it then just make them up at some future date. Teams should be organized enough that they can reschedule if need be. You should try to clarify a few things and be as specific as possible.

For example, are matches bo3? You show three maps only, so it may be presumed that it is not since normally there is a veto process.

How are maps chosen after first game is away team always picking map?

Are there server switches allowed?

What about subs? Last week you only allowed one. I had changed that last season to two, so people could be confused.

Trust me being thorough takes time, but it gives people a lot less time to complain which is the bigger problem.

Just so you know I wasn't questioning anything you had done, I just wanted clarification.

Now that we play every team twice, doesn't matter, on your second playthrough you'll have them flipped.
