APL 12 Registration and interest gathering

I am willing to run an APL after SL is over as interest seems to have peaked up.

Right now, this is solely a interest gathering point, but this thread will also be for APL registration.

Date: Begin April 12, 2015 (tentative based on predicting when SL will end)

Format: Double Round Robin Regular Season with bo7 single elimination post-season.

Roster Size: 12 max

For me to hold this tournament, 4 teams need to register. Also I am open for any interest in changes to regular season/post season, roster sizes, etc.

I always thought during its height altitude was a great streaming game that was justy a head of the streaming movement(although I may be delusional).

I think you're pretty spot on with your last comment ccn. Altitude casts were always very enjoyable to watch even as VODs so I can only imagine the hype had it been live.

I spoke to TwistedDuck and he seemed pretty stoked to do some stuff for APL. He has proven to be an excellent play-by-play commentator as evidenced by his amazing casting of last season's Skyleague finals. I think if we could get him and some others (CCN? mled? Boko?) for some live twitch broadcasting, a lot of magic could happen!

goose just so you know per apl rules you have to include yourself in your roster of 12 if you plan on playing in official apl matches

if you need any suggestions on who you could remove to make room for yourself, i feel like aya has very little to contribute to your team and you can safely drop him if necessary!

Yes, there are two district wreaking havoc teams which will both be competing in apl as separate teams.

I prefer confirmation by someone on the team registered rather than another player on a different team for sign-ups.

While I want all these teams to participate, I will be holding a preseason to make sure teams are able to show-up.
