The Fairest Tournament Ever (TFTE)

I wanna introduce you the most exciting and fairest summer tournament ever in the history of alti life!

It will be a short, funny and fair competition between the best captains and members of altitude!

Rules:

1) 6 volunteers will apply as a captains. They will be the key of everything. They will choose their team according these rules:

a) The best 6 members of each team will have a limit of 9000 points of ladder rating.

b) A member only can be part of one team. In case 2 captains choose the same player, that player would choose the team he wants to be part of (or not being part at all).

c) Team will have a minimum of 8 members. Maximum is set in 12.

d) You can recruit new players along the tournament BUT the limit of 9000 points will remain.

e) Teams will disapear after the tournament, so members already in a clan, could be elected in diferent teams. This is not SL, it is fairer tournament!.

Tournament:

It will be short and fun to play. All games will be BO3. The Semi finals and final will be BO5.

Maps: Captains will choose 1 map each but roids. the third game will be played in roids (because we all love roids!)

the tournament will be organizated in 2 leagues of 3 teams, League 1 (teams A, B and C) and League 2 (teams D, E and F).

A vs B D vs E
B vs C D vs F
A vs C E vs F

3 points for victory. Diference of goals and game losses will be used in case of tie

The 2 best teams of each league will play the semi final. Semi final will be the best team of league 1 against the second team in league 2. and the best team in league 2 vs the second team in league 1.

After each game captains will elect one player of the enemy team as the best team player. Captains of the teams will choose MVP of the each game.
So each game, there will be a best player of one team and one MVP.

when the tournament is over, captains and vice captains will vote some individual awards

1) best whale of the tournament
2) best randa
3) best loopy
4) best bomber
5) best bip
6) best Player of the tournament
7) best team maker
8) best killer
9) fair player

CP) i dont know how this works, i would like to give points to the winner team and individual awards.

Sounds like fun,

how do the captains get their team? I mean will they come together and pick 1 after 1 etc or do they submit a hidden roster first for example?
And will those be picked after the season reset and on a fixed date?
I can imagine that rating can differ from day to day or week to week. (So that can become a bit sketchy in fairness like that usa/eu tourney in way people dropped/gained in rank when the tourney was announced vs actually played)

Is there a max of 6 teams? (sl had 8 teams)

Captains talk with the people they want to recruit, and then post here their team.
The ELO will be based in the actual ladder season, it is about to end, so the ELO will be fixed, and no problems with any variation.
The number of teams is 6 but if more captains will apply, i dont have any problem in accept it.
