Default Requesting a beginner map server

A map server with the following maps (all easy, imo):

ball_darkwar (classic, relatively simple map)
ball_snow (same)
ball_football
ball_alley http://altitudegame.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6730
ball_dice http://altitudegame.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6738

And any other maps that the community can summon from the nether.

The map server title and/or server message to joining players could explain the purpose of the server: to provide relatively easy maps for newer players to get the gist of ball play and somewhat more advanced flying than football servers.

I recommend the walls to be bouncy.

An easy solution would be to rename/replace ball bouncy 2, which is rarely used these days.

I might actually suggest a broader change: rename ball bouncy 1 to "Official Ball Server - Advanced" and make it hard walls, and make ball bouncy 2 "Official Ball Server - Novice" with bouncy walls. Something along those lines.

The advanced server should include, at the least:
-Maze (incredibly hard to master the turns as a new player)
-Funnelpark (highly technical flying and ball spotting)
-Mayhem (the original - it is not a coincidence that the BEST ball players "grew up" with this map as the mainstay of ball bouncy 1 and 2 - i don't care how long it takes. new players love this stuff.)
-Planepark (wide variety of routes)

Snow easy? :O it's really narrow and whale heaven

imo replace that with labyrinth.

Also games should be 10 minute games not first to 6

Well said twist.
Great map btw, when compared to football. Purpose was to bring footballers out of their pitch - unfortunately devs didnt liked it, mainly due to graphics.

umm, elixir. I don't know how easy it is, but what about cave as a beginning map? Because on this map it easy to shoot when u are in middle when there is no incoming.

i think the problem was due to the walls become invisible when you turn of paralax
