Adjusting Full Random
I did a quick search and did not find this idea mentioned anywhere else in the forums so I apologize if it has already been suggested.
Idea: Semi-Random Would it be possible to allow players to configure what perks (red/green/blue) are enabled/disabled when selecting full random? Personally, if I could disable Reverse Thrust and Rubber Hull it would make my Full Random experience a lot more enjoyable instead of having every third plane essentially 'missing' a green or blue perk. I know this sort of defeats the purpose of Full Random but I lack the necessary plane slots to give Custom Random a good feel for a variety of planes and I feel like this would be a relatively easy change to implement. P.S. A difference as simple as having Turbo Charger instead of Ultra Capacitor or Heavy Armor instead of Flexible Wings really changes how a plane feels and is what makes Full Random so interesting to me. |

Would making more plane slots be more helpful? Because, even on ace 10, I find that I have to edit a plane mid-game to have the one I want. I had thought that ace 6-10 would make a 4th row of plane slots.

I'd be down for having all 45 possible combos being visible in a paging system.

I think the number of plane slots is fine, but I tend to use just 2 setups (thermo turbo flexi and df turbo ha).
I do like the partial-full-random idea though. I shy away from full random precisely because of rev thrust and rubber hull. |

I think amount of plane slots is fine, but I like this idea... also it would be cool to be able to choose something like "random biplane" which always gave you biplane perks, but randomized the other ones... I'm sick of getting loopy on full random XD

On the other hand, the quantity of posts regarding this issue makes it seem clear that many players would benefit from a semi-random implementation. |
