There a way to change resolution? The game didn't like me directly changing my config file.

C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\bumbledore\config\con fig.txt Change fullscreen=pure to fullscreen=false or fullscreen=true Then you can change displayWidth displayHeight To whatever you'd like. |

I think we're going to add a higher-res texture pack and in-game resolution toggles in the next patch.

I bought and downloaded the game on Steam, but when I try to play it, it tells me that it can't run because Steam isn't running (which is obviously is). Helps?

Have you tried running steam/the gane as an administrator? I'm assuming you use a pc here. It's just a quick guess. If this doesn't work you might have to try and find a solution somewhere in the game's properties --> karl & lamster.

I'm enjoying it. I actually think that totalbiscuit's criticism that the UI elements are multi-touch centric from the mobile version is too much. Certainly doesn't phase me that a hand shows the tutorial, and that the widget elements are from a multi-touch design. Works and looks fine on PC. The only criticism I'd see as really sticking is that an in-game toggle for windowed mode would be helpful.

it really is similar to angry birds. if you want a demo, download angry birds lite imo.

Its great...im not one to complain about games, but personally I think it's extremely easy. I got 3 stars on 3/4 of the levels in total and I wish harder levels were to come. Overall, 7/10. I need a sharper and brighter main screen and gameplay, then we'll see. Thanks guys, just make sure the $5.00 people spend on this game are worth it.
I know you guys can really make the game the new angry birds, just some improvements, and you are set! Best of luck. |

yea it's proving to be quiet excruciating. Oracle will probable release an iOS JVM before I finish the conversion lol.

Karl, are you trying to port this from Java to Objective-C? I'm an iOS developer so if you need some help along the way I'd be glad to help if I can.
But if I were you I'd use something like Cocos2D (which can use Lua instead of Obj-C I believe). Cross-platform compatibility is far better that way. Last edited by RedLight; 04-14-2012 at 06:37 PM. |
