Ace ranks copied?

I've played my fair share of COD 4, which is personally one of my favorite games, and I've noticed that one of the ace ranks looks like an exact replica of the COD4 4th prestige...

I'm almost positive this can't be a coincidence, as it is to close to the prestige emblem.

I also noticed the first COD4 prestige, which is practically the first ace rank.

Aren't the ace ranks based off real medals? Which is likely to be the case for COD as well. I'm pretty sure that taking the same order of medals isn't an issue.

I'm not sure they're based off real medals, but I do know that COD 4 came out in November 5, 2007, and Ace ranks we're well into 2010/2011.

I don't think the problem is about COD, it's about having the same emblems as them when they are "original"(kinda)

lol this whole thread is retarded...

the 10th one is like the scuba or whatever, they've mentioned this before, im sure its in the wiki somewhere. Also, the red/green/blue perk is based off that kind of too. But the creators can't copy exactly what cod does, which is what they didn't do. They aren't gonna get sued, and the emblems really don't matter. The system was copied to give people something to do after they hit 60... why complain ;_;
