Default Best/Easiest Plane for Beginner?

Hi, I'm really new to this game, and I have a somewhat newby question: What planes are good for beginners, but still easy to use?

1 vote for Loopy. Best Plane to learn with, hands down.

I was gonna say Bomber but in truth only real bombers are allowed to play it.

Loopy x2

+1 for loopy

Assuming you have level 60 already, some common setups that are good to start with:

double-fire loopy, heavy armor, either ultracap or turbo depending on your preference.

bomber with suppressor (easier to use than flak since the tail gun has limited autoaim within a certain angle), repair drone, ultracapacitor

explodet with director, repair drone and turbocharger. (Thermo and Remote mine take more skill)

biplane with recoilless, flexi wings and ultracapacitor or turbocharger, depending on preference.

Miranda isn't really a beginner's plane, but a common setup is trickster, repair drone and ultracapacitor.

Setups to avoid:
Tracker on loopy: Double fire is basically the same thing, only twice as good.
Dumb bombs on bomber: They are dumb, it's in the name.
Rubber hull on anything: it forms bad flying habits and makes it hard to get better.

You might want to consider that he could be playing with a demo account.

No, I don't really want to consider that. It would make me sad.

I find remote mine the hardest to play well (e.g. as a proper thermo replacement in ball), even time anchor is easier.

the laser itself is easy to use, but conquering the mechanics of mirandas themselves is pretty challenging, compared to either thermo or loopy.

Trickster, HA, Ultracap

Once you get the hang of that, you can try swapping out Ultracap for Ace Instincts.

Loopy is always recommended as the plane you should start off with not because it is the easiest or the hardest, but because the manics of the plane are easy and straight forward to understand even if you've never played this game before.

Forgive the stupid people. They have called it just "turbo" when in game for a long time now, it's just due to simplicity obviously. Guides are meant for all levels of skill, so having the full names of what a person is talking about is normal when you want to explain something to someone in hopes they actually care.

Quote:
Hollywoods Personal Opinion ~ Bomber is one of the hardest if not the most difficult plane to master, I can confidently tell you that only 3-4 bomber players are even close to that level, while the rest just play it casually. I am not talking about 100% mastery either, I am talking about understanding a new level of play that is not common knowledge. Something that can only be seen if you already know what you are looking for.

Idk what the big discussion here is. Winner is loopy hands down :P

Thermo may be easy but you have to aim ---> loopy is easier

Also, if you're interested in learning remote mine for TBD (which you should be, it's awesome) I would suggest playing director until you're comfortable with the rockets and then switching to remote to learn the mines.
