Alti on a G4?

I've run Altitude on a Dual 500 Powermac and it runs very poorly thanks to several things. I'm curious if anyone runs it on faster G4s like the 1.33ghz ibook and how it runs on the very late model g4s.

I run alty on a imac intel 17 with 512 ram. is sucks also.

these days, java isn't designed to run on ppc equipment much. I'm surprised it works at all, considering that with all the library updates, it is not forwards-compatible (like most things). Also, consider that 1.33Ghz on a ppc is not the same as 1.33Ghz on a modern machine. it's quite a bit slower, in fact, due to bus speed, cpu architecture, etc.
