Mike's Mafia Madness 2 Game Thread

* 4 blue townies
* 1 cop (can find out if someone is town or mafia)
* 1 watcher (visits 1 person and sees whoever visits them)
* 1 bomb (anyone who kills him will blow up **only 1 mafia can die from this)
* 1 hooker (stops 1 persons role per night)
* 1 stalker (visits someone every night and finds out their role)
* 1 vanilla mafia

I agree with Kennedy, NL is the best thing to do in this situation.

@mikesol I may need to sub out/be godkilled, as a storm is hitting New Orleans tomorrow and I am unsure whether or not my phone will work. If it does, I can continue playing by posting from my phone. However, I am unsure if that will be the case. If I suddenly vanish, that's why. I apologize, but I had no idea this would happen until after remembering that I had signed up for this game.

DDP must have had a role that requires night action. Otherwise the 12hour wait for him to get internet would not have been a problem, seeing as we are no lynching anyway.

He claims that his power may be out for the entire week and that he may not be able to play at all (after all there is a hurricane heading towards him). If someone is going to be gone for that significant period of time I want to replace them regardless of whether or not they have an action. Don't try to extrapolate something from the fact I replaced him

Lynching town isn't always a bad thing, because you get some really valuable information about the people on the lynch wagon. A lot of the time, you can find multiple mafia on it in a large game.

I understand the logic behind NLing, but I don't see how we get much information from it.

Everyone, including mafia, are just going to vote NL and not really say anything of value.

Pretty much anyone has voted now, can you honestly say that, looking at these posts, you're much wiser on anyone's role?

Well, after Today's chat hearing everybody realize that NL is the best option might provide some insight into their mindset and playstyle.

All said, I think we learn enough to justify making it a quick day.

Thing is, we have two investigative power roles who can gain information on our behalf, we should spend this phase of the game keeping them alive rather than trying to scumhunt in such a way that might out them.

Chill imo, and let night actions do their thing.

I think having a 'quiet' day is about neutral, we may have 2 investigators, but Mafia have one, so the information gain is roughly equal.

We don't get much information from it, we get the information during the night phase. My post outlined we'd have more to go on for our first lynch(aka day 2).

Will the day phase end after everyone has voted. If so, is everyone OK with it ending early? Looks like it's just fu and I left to vote. At this stage I agree that a NL is the best option.

If MJ votes anyone besides Wolf then there would be 8 No Lynches, and 2 people tied, would that still result in a no lynch?

Nevermind, logic fail on my part. No lynch counts as a person who can have the most votes right?

Therefore since no lynch had well over 50% of votes the result is no lynch?

No lynch is the same as a person. If > 50% of the people vote No Lynch then it's a no lynch. It is night 1 right now.
