Default Is alti down atm?

forums seem to be working again but cant get access to the game servers?

There are ppl playing in my servers so it isnt down, prob login problem since I cant get in there either..

Yes, DNS does not resolve, so you cannot login.

yeah me and lol @ death have been trying for a while now. keeps saying DNS problems etc. before i couldnt even find the forums or ladder site or anything now i have some access to the forums but still no game access grrrrrrr

I'm on Winblows, too lazy to try different DNS servers, you could try using 8.8.8.8 and/or 8.8.4.4 (google's DNS server) to see if it resolves somehow; in case some change was made and hasn't propagated yet.

^^ same lol. wouldnt be too bad if steam servers allowed me to download my games faster than 500kbs lol

Ok, my assumption here is that for those who are having issues with Altitude, it's because at some point your routing through servers hosted by GoDaddy, which is suffering a major outage right now. As Geiro said, Google DNS or OpenDNS are your best choices.

As reported above: there have been no outages on our side, but some players may be experiencing DNS issues. Follow the instructions at this link -- https://developers.google.com/speed/...dns/docs/using -- to configure your computer to use Google's DNS servers (it's one of the first things I do on all of my computers).
