Judging from the comments about Hap, the way you guys act isn't much different to what you accuse him off .. Well done, lol

Also, Hap isn't a bad guy

Just as I've stated at H20 thread, I believed in Hap as a leader until I couldn't support his actions anymore. We talked about the matters when they came up, didn't agree on many points (sometimes almost fighting) and agreed on others (and because of the latter, H20 began to really grow in quality during its last few weeks).

But despite any of that, there's no reason he shouldn't be in a clan, let alone a clan for fun. Welcome!

Default Official CLAN TAG

Ok guys, we'll go with -O name O- for our tag!

U can wear it just for the scrims or permanently, at your convenience.

I'm trying to set up a scrim for next sunday...

Please tell me if you can be there and what time etc...

I'll post more details as soon as i can...

Also can you guys send me your email privately so i can set up a mailing list to send scrim notices?

So....I think I'll ask again? Is this for funsies or are you playing competitively and scrimming? You might wanna make sure everyone who signed up for BRA is aware of the clan's intentions. Obviously you can see how we'd run into problems if BRA starts scrimming - who're they gonna play? Everyone in BRA is in another clan that's competitive - so how do they decide which team they're playing on?

Default Let me worry about those things

Relax Angry, i thought i told you before it was for fun.

Also, i don't think <T> has anything planned this sunday.
Or did you forget to notify me?

Third, we'd be playing SMILE, i don't think the BRA has any SMILE members do we?

I don't see any problems here.

If you want to join the BRA, just send me a message.

Default Erratum

Sorry, but i have to cancel the sunday scrim vs SMILE because

<T> is already playing them this sunday and i wasn't informed of that.

So be patient BRA members, we'll get a scrim eventually.

Also, if any clan wants to scrim an all biplane clan, just let me know by sending me a private message.

By the very nature of the word 'scrimmage'
Quote:
a rough or vigorous struggle
and the homogeneity of your clan, I'd say that definition is literally accurate for BRA. Also in agreement with Irish here, don't see how you can scrim others with carefree attitude and roster full of tendered players.

Guys, guys, guys, guys....

We are not a clan whom is very serieus and wants to play/win tournaments... BRA is an immortal Biplane clan with lots of pros in it (like Luigi). We are a clan who organise very hard trainings for every clan who's interested. We already have SMILE (a very pro and kinda sucky clan) as our "trainingsmate" to play some sundays together... And if any other clan would train vs us and get raped.. just contact our beloved leader or me (cuz im an immortal god who knows everything) and play awesome matches with the undefeateble biplane clan BRA.

And if you pussies only can bitch about our members or if the clan is "serieus" or not, well GTFO and don't talk to any of our members and don't disturb us in our journey to the top of best biplane clan ever made and play your game.

Luigi.

Default True...

No need to resort to insults, because biplanes are truly gods, and therefore don't have to feel insecure or threatened at any time or place.

I have to say Luigi speaks the truth though, and bless him, as well as all biplanes, from the rubber hull nubs to the rev recoiless experts.

Let's not turn this holy thread of bliss into a temple of drama, for drama is spawn of Lucifer, sent to steal our souls and propagate hatred.

May biplanes always rule, because they're the coolest.

Amen.

Default The official tag

Ok so after many hours spent working on our branding strategy with the marketing department we've come to a decision:

this tag: -O name O- is no longer valid

the new official tag will be this one:

=B=

May the force =B= with you and your biplane.

Default Scrim

Yes, i have received all of your emails. Thanks a lot guys.

I'm hesitating on when and who we should try to scrim, because we have players from different timezones (America and Europe) as well as different clan members (<T> members and Zrog members).

I guess we could try sunday at 4pm EST, which is 9pm GMT if my calculations are correct?

I'll get back to you soon.

Default Good idea Caz

So,

I've sent an email to all BRA members to see who can show up

this sunday, december 9th, 4pm EST

I will now contact <T> and Zrog captains to see if we can get them to scrim us.

I for one can confirm that i will be there.

Worse that can happen is a friendly scrim with good players.

See you on sunday ladies and gentlemen!

edit: some Zrog and <T> players already confirmed so it looks like we have a live one here.

  • Feel free to add me as a friend on Steam, my ID is danpare.
  • If you don't have Steam, it's free. Just download it.

See you on sunday, may the BRA be with you.

Default Strategies

So I think we should discuss biplane roles before scrimming. Since of course we're all going to be using the same plane, perks and roles are going to be absolutely VITAL in order to win any games. (Not that it's the point, but it sure feels nice to pwn a team with just bips)

So how I see it, we'll need defenders, harassers/killers, and runners. We need to predetermine who is going to be doing what and figure out the best perks for that role.

Defender:
REDperk--Recoilless, maybe hc
GREENperk-- Heavy, or repair
BLUEperk-- Ultra, or turbo

Killer:
REDperk-- Dogfighter, maybe hc
GREENperk-- flexi, or heavy
BLUEperk--Ultra, turbo if hc, Ace if amazing

Runner:
REDperk-- Recoilless
GREENperk-- Heavy
BLUEperk-- Turbo, or rev
-----------------------------------

What do you think? Feel free to make suggestions if you have some ideas.

Nice one!! I think the runner can use flexi as green perk too... it makes him harder to catch !!

I would like to play as a killer/runner! Ill always be near the ball and i'm open to receive the ball or clear the path. My fav perks are HC-Flexy-Turbo...

Cheers!!

Default Voice chat

While i know Steam voice chat isn't the best option, i figured since it'Ls real simple to use, we'll start with this.

I know some people prefer Team Speak to Mumble, so once we're all connected on Steam voice chat we'll be able to discuss our options furthermore.

See you tomorrow!

I've tried repair for a while, but it just doesn't cut it in ball, IMO... not enough time D:

Also I think rev works well more often in a killer or midfielder. And runner would have a good use of Flexi.

Still, we still gotta test all those up and see.

biplanes suck in ball in general. it's not like your perks are actually going to make a difference anyways.
