Play By Forum BattleCON Anyone?

So I've been getting pretty interested in BattleCON, a card game that emulates the 2D fighting genre games like Street Fighter II and Mortal Kombat. The game is very simple to learn but a pretty steep difficulty level for competence due to the huge variety of moves and understanding your opponent's options is a key point to winning.

I'd like to try running a few games with play by forum, using the 9 free print-and-play characters. For an example on what play by forum looks like for this game, check here.

The rules and the print-and-play characters can be found here. Download the Battlecon Print and Play Version, the Devastation of Indines Preview, Web Rulebook and the Bonus Print and Play - Seth Cremmul. Because this is a perfect information game nothing needs to be printed out on paper, you can play just using the pdfs and referring to the game state.

I'll work as the judge: players submit their moves to me and I'll do all resolutions. The first few games might be a little rough without understanding how the mechanics fit together but it's worth it once it all clicks.

I'd recommend just giving it a shot, they've got a rough but playable iOS version out and in the future might have an Android version. So, who's interested?

Quite the learning curve. I'll take Flarechild. ^.^ Who wants to get burned?

Also related to online board top gaming, I think it was 3v that pointed out VASSAL for playing games, such as Betrayal. I believe this will help me both speed up the game, and not inherently know what is possible to happen, as I can keep the decks hidden from myself.

Yeah, there was a completed battle I found in a forum a while back but I couldn't find it again. Showing a turn or two I thought would be enough.

I should have thought to look for a Vassal module. I'd be up to try facing you with that if nobody else wants to try a forum game.
