Default New Stick in Clan Recuitment

I think it would be nice to have a "Official Scrim" sticky.

The issue:

Currently, the way teams organize scrims is to go to a different teams thread and post a questions if they would like to scrim. Then, if the answer is yes, the teams have to discuss the date and time. If the team says no, then the team that wishes to scrim has just wasted valuable time in which they could have asked another team. To ensure said team gets a scrim on the date and time, they would need to post on every teams thread. This is not very ideal.

Another alternative would be for said team to post on their own thread, but who is going to be searching every teams threads for a possible scrim. Again, not ideal.

The possible solution:

A sticky in which teams can post a simple message message letting others teams know that they are available at on a certain date and at a certain time. The message could include:
  • Team name
  • Game mode
  • Date and Time
  • Server
  • Captain/Person to Contact

Forum mods could use the Date and Time as a guideline for when to delete posts to keep the scrim list fresh.

I would love to see a lot more scrims this APL and going forward. With TBD ladder being pretty much dead, this could be a good way for us to get our competitive altitude fix.

Thoughts?

The idea sounds good but keeping it organized requires a lot of activity from whichever team is posting to get a scrim going, and we don't see that a lot on most days around here. You have my support though.

Also, the title doesn't match the content.

Would require as much activity as the old methods, if not less.

A single thread of running scrim request similar to the single thread for all Ladder admin ban request wouldn't require upkeep from mods and still gets the job done.
