APL 9 Finals WEEK

APL 9 Finals Sunday 12th May 2013, 2PM EDT/6PM GMT

KLF VS FRO will happen first in a bo5 IL will face winner right after.

I originally scheduled 2 games a week please let me know if you would like to change this.

Map pool:
KLF vs FRO- will use a special set of rules where the entire map pool is in play. KLF will pick the first map then loser will pick maps from there on.

Finals (bo7): cave, asteroids, heights, core, mayhem, underpark, focus

Servers: Top games: APL 1,2,3,4. Bottom games: Ladder servers 1,2 (ask a ladder admin to start you the tournament) If playing in apl or ladder servers, and the server crashes, teams are given 1 min from the time another team gets all their players in the server that were in before. If a sub is needed since another player either can't reconnect or disappears, it does not count as the one sub from the sub rule. Teams may choose to have everyone crash then start, or circle their spawn then start in case of a server crash. If two teams can't come to a consensus, players must crash before starting.

Format: Bo3 Round Robin. Top 2 teams will play for championship after regular season in one bo7.

Home Team: Chooses server for first two games, and starts veto. Loser of each game chooses next map.

I am not sure that FU spoke for IL when he said that we can't play next week. We probably can.

That being said, its absurd that you think we're the ones who need to "shape up." Please show me 1 post on the forums before yesterday that told us when we were supposed to play. I would direct you to your own clan thread where class said he's not sure when he wants to play finals (assuming klf beats fro) because he hasn't heard back from your best players. While you guys have been deciding what would be the most advantageous schedule for yourself you have given us no information about when we are playing (also keep in mind it was you who originally complained about having to play the finals tomorrow). Just because a PM was sent to FU doesn't mean the rest of us get this information.

Please, for the love of God, acknowledge that klf has some of the blame here, or tell me how the hell we were supposed to know when you wanted to play. I have already heard from 3 IL players saying that we didn't get a long enough notice. If DN lets the winner of fro vs KLF take a forfeit win in the finals, then kudos to you, mad respect and all that, but I think it would be ridiculous to claim a forfeit win over a team that only learned the APL schedule yesterday.

I agree. I was talking to people and I don't see any reason we can't play next week. Final decision is FU's though.

when presenting no other reasonable alternative to a date where other teams should be willing to play, yes. its only now that were hearing u guys ARE actually willing to play next week and fart why are u pointing solely at klf on this in both threads to begin with? if FRO has already given u the go ahead that they want to play today then u obv should have been ready no matter what.

I ask you guys nicely to stop. Yes, KLF probably should have posted in your thread instead of pming FU. On the other hand, even if you were just relying on FU's message fart and ball'n at least made it seem this sunday would be best for IL. Doesn't matter now. If IL can't show today we will do it next week since it seems that IL can actually show next week. I think it was originally in consensus to only have one match today anyways. Everyone is at fault, so lets stop pointing fingers and just play the game.

Ingbo I'm not sure you should consider anyone other than me as speaking for IL. I made exactly one post in the other thread, saying we had some scheduling issues and asked to play this week (there were no claims of "we can't play"). I then discussed the issue with the other two captains in-game. The three of us agreed to a bo5 tiebreaker followed by a bo7 finals. I'm not sure why anyone other than the captains would be discussing scheduling. Due to new information, however, I have to request that we postpone the finals until next week. I've already spoken to class, who said it was fine, and I await SSD's response.

Edit: SSD has also agreed. As of now, we will be playing finals next week on the 19th. If there was a communications error, please take it up privately with your captain who can, if he deems necessary, reschedule with the other two captains.
