Introduction:

We are a small 'casual pro' clan concentrating purely on the BALL game mode.

'Casual pro' in our case means that we take the game seriously and try to be as good in it as we can (thus pro), but our training times and amounts vary a lot depending our real lives (thus casual).



Scrim arrangement:

We are always open for friendly matches. Post in this topic, or contact one of the members in-game to set up a scrim.



Recruitment:

We are recruiting. Post in this topic, or contact one of the members in-game to apply.



History:

Sky Pirates was formed by two enthusiastic brothers, {arr}Gemi and {arr}D4rt, when they started playing the game in late 2009. The clan kept quiet for a couple of months while both trained their flying, killing and scoring skills. In February 2010 the clan started recruitment and within a very short time period we gathered a team full of eager and capable players ready to bring some Yarr to the fields of BALL.

{arr} soon rose to the official title of the best BALL clan in existence as the team conquered the SkyLeague. {arr} also beat the StreetBallaz 3v3 tournament with their ABE team shortly after that. After a short time of lower success the clan returned to full force in The European Altitude BALL League taking the first place in the league, dominating all but one of the other participating clans with 3-0 victories. In 2011, the team reclaimed their title of SkyLeague champions by winning the 5th tournament of the most renowned BALL tournament.

Hey Cookie,

Quite a few of us will be playing in the Pwned tournament that day, including me, so I'm not sure if we'd have enough. Maybe it would be best to not do it but rather meet in SL, which starts next Sunday anyway.

Hiya guys and gals. some of you may know that I was hoping to join recently. I have been told by Lako that this isn't possible due to one or more of the members not wanting me to join. Now id just like to apologise for anything I may have done to offend anyone, this wasn't on purpose. If at all possible can you please speak to me whoever it is and at least explain what I did. I really was hoping that Arr would be my new home and I thought i was on good standing with all members.

hey pirates- for those of you who weren't around today or who missed my explanation, i'm moving to the necro datefest team. i originally joined the new arr team because it seemed like i was very needed as there weren't any other randa players who were in yet. but with the glorious return of many of the old arr members i don't think i am needed that much. i think tek, cakes, and pat can do a better job due to more compatible playstyle and more compatible ping.

in preseason when we fought <X's 6-biplane lineup of tbd players i realized that there is a team that could use me a whole lot more...

i'm sorry if you feel let down, but i think it's for the best as we'll have another viable team in the tourny this way. best of luck to you guys and gals, and it was fun playing with you even if only for a short time!!
